Ambulances and Equipment
The PVAC was started in 1968 with a donation of our first ambulance from the Terryville Lions Club, and provided Advance First Aid with a volunteer membership.  Today, PVAC volunteers and career personnel strive to provide the best possible medical care to the residents of and visitors to our community with the latest advances in EMS equipment.

ambulances2 The Plymouth Volunteer Ambulance Corps currently provides Basic Life Support (BLS) to the Town of Plymouth with two (2) 2003 Ford F450 Modular Ambulances.

lifepak Plymouth Volunteer Ambulance EMT's are equipped with many life saving devices, one of which is the LifePak 500 Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

suction This S-SCOR VX2 Suction Unit was purchased with a Grant from the Thomaston Savings Bank.

amb-bikes The PVAC Bike Team is a specialized group of EMT's who are able to respond rapidly to medical emergencies at outdoor public events such as fairs, parades and other special events.  The team utilizes bikes made by Trek. More information
